Publications

We regretfully announce that the Refugee Housing Program will no longer be able to distribute the signature Welcome to Your New Home booklets completely free of charge. Over the past year, shipping costs increased dramatically as gas prices surged. Unfortunately, when the cost of fuel dropped, shipping prices did not. In order to continue to be able to provide this valuable resource to you, we will be asking organizations to cover the shipping of materials at the nominal rate of approximately $0.35 per booklet. Mercy Housing will continue to cover the handling charges of $3.00 per box. As always, PDFs of materials are available free-of-charge at www.refugeehouse.org. If you are interested in ordering hard copies of Refugee Housing Materials, please continue to do so by e-mailing your order to Refugeehouseinfo@mercyhousing.org. You will be asked for additional information to complete your order. We will be adding a new electronic order form to our website in the next few weeks. We look forward to continuing to offer you these and other resources.

All publications that are available in pdf format may be downloaded by website visitors. Unless otherwise noted, hard copies of publications in stock may be requested at no charge if and only if they are for use by refugees and asylees arriving in the U.S. within the past five years or by refugee resettlement agencies and Ethnic Community Based Organizations working with refugees and asylees.
